I dropped my car off for a scheduled appointment on June 3rd for a water pump replacement — a job that takes around 4–5 hours of labor. I did not get my car back until June 27th. Nearly four weeks for a half-day repair. The communication was abysmal from start to finish. In almost a month, they called me exactly once. Every other update I got, I had to chase down myself by calling them — and every time I called, the answer was a vague "next week" or "Saturday," which I heard over and over with nothing to back it up. I was never given a written estimate the entire time. I found out that the mechanic working on my car had quit during the second week only because I called and asked — they never thought to tell me that the person responsible for my repair was gone, or what it meant for my timeline. When the car was finally finished, they didn't even call to tell me it was ready. After nearly a month of waiting, I had to call yet again to learn I could come get it. But the worst part came after I picked it up. When I got the car back, there were hoses left disconnected and clamps that weren't properly secured — I had to reconnect their own work myself. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would! My husband has a hotshot business and had an emergency tire situation on his F350 dually. Rita was absolutely amazing and patient. She was so helpful in getting him 6 new tires overnight at a reasonable price. We called over 5 times trying to verify his options because he has big tires 35/12.5r22. They could not mount the tires on because of the size of both the truck and tires but she gave us multiple options around that could possibly help us. Because of her due diligence he was able to get back on the road in a day. Situations like this is what gains a customer for life and we are really grateful for all her help!

I had a great experience at Pep Boys when I brought in my car for a damaged tire repair. The team was highly professional and fixed the problem incredibly fast. Their customer service was excellent, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and deeply responsible throughout the process. On top of the great service, the pricing was very reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend them for their efficiency and dedicated care.

I was having trouble getting the bead to seat in my son’s ATV tires. On a whim I stopped into PepBoys without an appointment and on a Saturday morning. Rita was so kind and nice! I’ve been to other places that always make it seem like you’re a bother. That wasn’t the case here. Rita and the guys went above and beyond my expectations. They had my son riding that same afternoon! Don’t sleep on PepBoys! Great service and a great overall experience!

Learned our lesson about Pep Boys tire installation and alignment service. Had a front tire replaced, wondered why I was hydroplaning on wet roads. Found they tire, was directional, was put on w/the inside, clearly marked, on the outside. Alignment? Forget it. Had the car realigned there, they said there were no adjustments for the rear, which was wrong, ended up taking it to our local mechanic shop. The whole alignment was wrong. What the h311. Don't they train their techs? Guess not
